Ahead of the series launch, Lucasfilm have dropped images of the series’ principals.
We’re only a couple of weeks out from Star Wars: Ahsoka, the latest live-action series to land on Disney+.
This one follows the fan-favourite Jedi, who began her adventures in The Clone Wars and Rebels animated shows. In recent years, she has made the jump to live action, played by Rosario Dawson, to guest in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
With the character’s creator Dave Filoni at the helm, the cast of Ahsoka bring various characters from Star Wars: Rebels to life. To celebrate them, there’s a new series of character posters, adding to the one previously released for Ahsoka herself.
As well as the six characters featured, we know that Genevieve O’Reilly returns as Mon Mothma. We’re also expecting an appearance from Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker too.
As has been well-advertised, the series big bad is the ‘Heir to the Empire’ himself; Grand Admiral Thrawn is brought to life by Mads Mikkelsen. Plus, David Tennant will make a vocal appearance as the Jedi droid Huyang.
Star Wars: Ahsoka lands at Disney+ on Thursday, 24th August 2023 with a double-premiere, and runs for eight episodes.
