The teaser trailer for Honey Bunny, the Indian contribution to the Citadel franchise has arrived. 

With the Italian Citadel: Diana landing October, Prime Video has also dropped a teaser for the delightfully named Citadel: Honey Bunny.

Set in the same global spyverse, the show comes from directors Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK). The pair have written the show with Sita R. Menon.

According to the press release, “Citadel: Honey Bunny has a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story, all set against the vibrant tapestry of the ’90s.”

The show stars Varun Dhawan, Samantha and Kay Kay Menon. They’re joined by an ensemble cast which includes Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar.

It lands globally at Prime Video on Thursday, 7th November 2024.

Citadel Season 2

For the US show’s second run, Deadline report that Matt Berry (Toast of London) and Brazilian actor/musician Gabriel Leone (Ferrari) have recurring roles. They join returnees Richard Madden, Priyanka-Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville, as well as new recruit Jack Reynor.
