Amidst the sad news that Dave Gorman has brought his excellent Modern Life Is Goodish show to an end on Dave came a detailed blog post from the man himself. In it, he detailed why he felt the time was right to end the show, and also went into some detail as to the preparation for each episode.

In particular, we were taken by the overview he posted of a Powerpoint document for episode four of the recent run. And it gives you some idea of just how in-depth the work is.

One television show. 281 Powerpoint slides. We weep at the thought of sticking six slides together. Although he’s clearly cheating by using the show’s title card for at least 20 of them!
