Another new face joins the Doctor Who series 11 team…

Personnel changes continue behind the scenes of Doctor Who, ahead of the start of production on series 11 of the show. We already know that Jodie Whittaker is the new Doctor, and that Chris Chibnall is the new executive producer of course. But now, Doctor Who has hired a new producer too.

Sam Hoyle, who produced Broadchurch with Chibnall, is taking on the role. She’ll be working as co-executive producer alongside Matt Stevens and Chris Chibnall.

Doctor Who series 11 will run for a reduced count of ten episodes, kicking off in the autumn of 2018. News of who is going to be writing some of the episodes is expected to start filtering in shortly…
