Doctor Who, Jodie Whittaker and Tosin Cole nominated for Saturn Awards

The nominations for the 45th annual Saturn Awards were announced Monday, July 15.

Run by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, the Saturn Awards honors the hard work and achievements of the people who create and participate in science fiction entertainment. In recent years, they have added television and home entertainment categories to their eligible awards.

Doctor Who Series 11 was nominated for Best Science Fiction Television Series.

Jodie Whittaker was nominated for Best Actress on a Television Series for her role as the Doctor.

Tosin Cole was nominated for Best Younger Actor on a Television Series for his role as companion Ryan Sinclair.
