An American chain of theatres will show the first episode of Doctor Who Series 11.  On October 10, the AMC Theatres chain will offer The Woman Who Fell to Earth in at least some of their theatres.

The showing lists as one hour, thirty minutes. The length of the first Series 11 episode was first announced at BBC Worldwide Showcase as 65 minutes long so the cinema showing must include some bonus content.

There is no further information at this time but AMC Theatres has participated in past Fathom Events showings of various Doctor Who episodes, their last being a special showing of Genesis of the Daleks on June 11. Fathom Events have not yet announced a Doctor Who Series 11 premiere event.
