The Blue-ray and DVD for the 2023 Doctor Who Christmas special, The Church on Ruby Road, which has been available for pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray from Amazon UK, now has a February 2024 release date.

In The Church on Ruby Road, the Fifteenth Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) takes control of the TARDIS and meets new companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) for the first time.

Long ago on Christmas Eve, a baby was abandoned in the snow. Today, Ruby Sunday meets the Doctor, stolen babies, goblins and perhaps the secret of her birth…

Little is known about Ruby Sunday as she was abandoned on Christmas Eve as a baby. Now living with her mum, Carla and grandmother, Cherry her world is about to be turned upside down when she encounters the Doctor and the two set off on their first adventure together.

Alongside Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson, Davina McCall plays herself as she joins cast members Michelle Greenidge as Ruby’s mum Carla, Angela Wynter as Ruby’s grandmother Cherry and Anita Dobson as Mrs Flood.

Fans can pre-order The Church on Ruby Road from Amazon on DVD and Blu-ray, from HMV on DVD and Blu-ray and Rarewaves for a February 12, 2024 release.
