The Power of the Doctor, the last Doctor Who special for Jodie Whittker, was wiritten Chris Chibnall and directed by Jamie Magnus Stone.

The special began with the Doctor, Yaz and Dan donning spacesuits to rescue an intergalactic bullet train from a platoon of CyberMasters intent on obtaining its cargo.

The cargo was revealed to be an energy being known as a Qurunx in the guise of a vulnerable child played by Neo-Rae Gardener.
