Doctor Who fans outside of San Diego can get a live glimpse of what’s inside The Black Archive exhibit.

From 24 to 27 July 2025, fans in San Diego will be able to visit an exhibit based on UNIT’s top-secret Black Archive – a classified facility where the most dangerous alien artifacts and forbidden knowledge are stored, as first seen in the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor.

The Black Archive is a fully-immersive installation packed with alien relics, timey-wimey tech, and legendary enemies from six decades of Doctor Who history — including a Dalek mutant, Cybermen, and the Silence.

The video explores hidden props and secret messages, and even teases the upcoming spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea with a Sea Devil egg inside a clear box which attendees can handle with gloves.

The exhibit, open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday to Saturday 24-26 July and Sunday 27 July 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will be located inside The Harbor Club in the Gaslamp District, 100 E Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
