On 14 July 2023, filming wrapped on the 2024 Doctor Who series starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor and Millie Gibson as companion Ruby Sunday.
Millie Gibson was present on set for the final day of filming.

Then it was time for the wrap party at National Museum Cardiff with actors Bonnie Langford, Michelle Greenidge, Faye McKeever and Beyagy Demba joining the crew. Bad Wolf executive Jane Tranter also joined the celebration.

Filming on Ncuti Gatwa’s first full episode as the Doctor, the 2023 Doctor Who festive special, wrapped in the second block of filming in February 2023. Unit Stills photographer James Pardon snapped a photo of Gatwa as he filmed at the Golden Cross pub in Cardiff on 9 February.
Doctor Who will return in November 2023 with three 60th anniversary specials starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor and Catherine Tate as companion Donna Noble. In the following festive period, Ncuti Gatwa will star in his first full Doctor Who episode as the Fifteenth Doctor. A new Doctor Who series starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson will debut in 2024.
