The fans who gathered to watch the filming were rewarded with a few glimpses of Nucti Gatwa and a few kind words from the actor as he was driven away from the location.

Gatwa’s coat from his costume reveal photo plus a wide-brimmed hat were spotted in the arms of a crew member. Millie Gibson, who plays companion Ruby Sunday, was spotted but not photographed at the pub location.
The crew then moved to a second location at Pryzm Cardiff.

The crew hid Ncuti Gatwa behind an umbrella at the nightclub venue. All the filming occurred inside the venue.

Despite what other outlets may report, this was not the first time Gatwa was spotted filming Doctor Who. The actor was photographed filming in Pembrokeshire on Monday, 23 January, 2023. Before that, he filmed on location at Cardiff Bay Barrage on 17 December, 2022 — the evening of his costume reveal.
Doctor Who will return in November 2023 with three 60th anniversary specials starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor. In the following festive period, Ncuti Gatwa will star in his first full Doctor Who episode as the Fifteenth Doctor.
