Taken on location in Utah last year during the filming of Episodes 1 and 2, the photos show Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and Alex Kingston as River Song.

Series 6 kicks off with ‘The Impossible Astronaut’ on Saturday 23rd April on BBC One. A press launch for the new series took place in London last night.
