A soundtrack album featuring original music from Series 1 and 2 of BBC Three’s supernatural comedy-drama is released this week. The show’s music was nominated for the BAFTA Original Television Music award in 2010.

Speaking about his personal favourite pieces that he has composed, Wells named a track called ‘George And Mitchell’ from Series 3.

He told CultBox: “This was really tough to write. I had to create the score for an emotional showdown between the two lead guys, who’ve never really talked about emotions with each other before. It’s in Episode 8 so I can’t really say any more about it. But I’m hoping tears will be shed!”

Wells also revealed that he hopes to continue writing the show’s music for “as long as they want me”.
