A film crew recorded scenes for the Doctor Who 2024 series with Bonnie Langford and Ncuti Gatwa on an orange Vespa on Park Street in Cardiff on 26 June, 2023.
The filming is for a two-part 2024 series finale, directed by Jamie Donoughue, consisting of Episodes Seven and Eight.
Langford and Gatwa were filmed on scooter attached to a filming rig for action scenes involving, running, panicked extras.

Though the filming location is adjacent to Principality Stadium in Cardiff, the street was set up to look like London with a double-decker bus, a red telephone booth and a London taxi cab.

Doctor Who will return in November 2023 with three 60th anniversary specials starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor and Catherine Tate as companion Donna Noble. In the following festive period, Ncuti Gatwa will star in his first full Doctor Who episode as the Fifteenth Doctor. A new Doctor Who series starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson will debut in 2024.
