The stunt doubles were wearing the same costumes as Bonnie Langford (Mel) and Ncuti Gatwa (the Doctor) wore for filming of the two-part Doctor Who 2024 series finale, consisting of Episodes Seven and Eight. Langford’s stunt double drove the scooter with Gatwa’s double sitting in the back while extras appeared to frantically run from an unseen threat.
