Peter Kay’s sudden decision to cancel his upcoming work projects due to an undisclosed family reason has already meant that his huge arena tour – planned for this and next year – has been put on ice. There are two more episodes of Car Share coming, but they’d been filmed before Kay made his announcement.
Now we hear that Cradle To Grave, Danny Baker’s acclaimed autobiographical sitcom in which Kay takes on the role of Spud, is postponing its second series.
Baker told The Sun that “the show is in limbo”, saying “I’ll wait for Peter until 2019”. The first series of the show debuted in 2015.
Other options beyond that are a series focusing on different eras of Baker’s life, but he’s keen to wait for Kay if he can. More on this as we hear it.
