Gugu Mbatha-Raw has reportedly signed up for a role in an upcoming Star Wars movie.

The actress played Martha’s sister Tish Jones in the 2007 season of Doctor Who and is now best known for her roles in the 2013 movie Belle.

Directed by Rian Johnson (Looper), Episode VIII will begin filming next year and is due in cinemas on 26 May 2017 following 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
