While visiting former locations from the show with his family on holiday in Cardiff, Doctor Who fan and CultBox contributor Andrew Younger chatted to the owner of The Vicarage in Rhymney, Gwent – best known to viewers as young Amelia Pond’s house from ‘The Eleventh Hour’.
Den of Geek reports that the owner revealed he’d been contacted by the Doctor Who production team recently and they indicated that they may be needing to use the house again.
Could showrunner Steven Moffat be planning to wrap up his era with a return to where it all began in the fictional village of Leadworth in 2010? (Well, technically 1996.)

The location was last seen in a flashback using footage from ‘The Eleventh Hour’ at the end of ‘The Angels Take Manhattan’ following Amy and Rory’s dramatic New York exit.
Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie were recently spotted filming at another familiar location: the house previously used in Steven Moffat’s 2007 story ‘Blink’. These scenes were for Episode 4, guest starring David Suchet as The Landlord.
