Two trailers and some promotional images were released for Survivors of the Flux, the fifth chapter of Doctor Who: Flux.
As the forces of evil mass, the Doctor, Yaz and Dan face perilous journeys and seemingly insurmountable obstacles in their quest for survival.
The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) was turned into a Weeping Angel in a cliffhanger at the end of Village of the Angels.
Dan (John Bishop): “We’ve been in this decade for three years now. Do you think we’ll ever get back?”
Yaz (Mandip Gill): “There’s no use in being squeamish. We’ve got a future to save.”
Grand Serpent (Craig Parkinson) to Kate Lethbridge-Stewart (Jemma Redgrave): “How you expect to protect this pitiful race, I do not know.” (This dialogue likely takes place at UNIT headquarters in a scene filmed much later than the rest of the footage in September of 2021.)
Craig Parkinson plays Prentis, as well as Grand Serpent.
Farquhar (Robert Bathurst): “Very odd.”
Karvanista (Craige Els): “Karvanista to Lupari Fleet: Earth’s shield is now breachable!”
An ominous-looking spaceship.
Swarm (Sam Spruell) to Azure (Rochenda Sandall): “Could you feel the timeforce growing? It’s working, just as we planned.”
Passenger (Jonny Mathers) waits on the scene.
Vinder (Jacob Anderson) approaches with a gun.
Bel (Thaddea Graham) tries to find her way to Vinder on a Lupari ship.
Awsok (Barbara Flynn pictured in Once, Upon Time) is in Survivors of the Flux. Awsok does not appear in the trailer or promotional photos for Survivors of the Flux. She possibly has an Ood assistant.
Ood (Silas Carson): “Pattern optimisation in progress.”
There are scenes in the Williamson Tunnels under Liverpool with Joseph Williamson (Steve Oram) himself.
Part of the episode takes place in what looks like an underground crypt. Could the crypt be under the Williamson Tunnels?
Yaz encounters some textiles. A spark turns into an explosion.
Professor Jericho (Kevin McNally), Dan and Yaz go on a trek.
Written by Chris Chibnall and directed by Azhur Saleem, Survivors of the Flux, the fifth chapter of Doctor Who: Flux, will premiere Sunday, 28 November, at 6:25pm BT on BBC One and at 8:00pm ET on BBC America.
