Good Omens trailer: Michael Sheen and David Tennant sizzle

David Tennant and Michael Sheen seem to be having a ruddy great time in the new trailer for Good Omens. You can watch it for yourself right here…

This adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s novel certainly packs a lot of star power. As well as boasting Tennant and Sheen as its stars, the show also has Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin and Mireille Enos in supporting roles. And, on top of that, Frances McDormand is voicing God and Benedict Cumberbatch is doing the voice of Satan.

“The end is nigh. Coming to Prime Video in 2019. Based on the best-selling novel by renowned authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, this series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, who have formed an unlikely friendship spanning 6,000 years and have grown fond of life on earth. However, the end of time grows near with the approaching Armageddon and they must now join forces to find a way to save the world.”

Good Omens will launch on May 31st 2019, with Amazon Prime making all the episodes globally available for streaming. A televised broadcast on BBC Two will follow, a few months later, for UK viewers.
