Premiering last Friday on Netflix was the new modern take on Lost In Space. Overseen by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, the show seems to have gone down well too, with generally decent reviews. What’s more, without spoiling anything, it pretty clearly leaves a path for a further season of the show as well.
That’s no surprise, as the Netflix model is multiple seasons of its hit shows. In this case, season two of Lost In Space hasn’t been formally greenlit as of yet, but Sazama and Sharpless have admitted they’re working on it already.
They told IndieWire in a new interview that the details for the next run are “pretty well worked out”.
Sparing you the exact details, lest you’ve not seen the show yet, they added that “we are working on scripts and hoping that if we get a green light we’re ready to go”.
“We do have some crazy stuff planned out that we really hope we get to film”, they teased.
We’ll keep you posted as we hear more…
