Mr Selfridge actress Amy Beth Hayes has revealed she’d be up for a crossover between her show and Downton Abbey for charity.
Filming on the new series of ITV’s period drama began in April.
Downton Abbey returns for a fifth series next month.
Asked about the possibility of a crossover episode, Hayes (who plays Kitty Hawkins) exclusively told CultBox: “Maybe as a sort of charity thing, that would be really funny.”
She speculated: “To have Lady Mary come over to the beauty counter and have Kitty advise her on a perfume or something. I actually walked past her [Michelle Dockery, who plays Lady Mary] in the street the other day on Oxford Street, so that very nearly happened.”
Mr Selfridge creator Andrew Davies recently revealed that the show will probably end after its fourth series.
Series 3 picks up the story in 1919 just after the end of World War I, with new cast members including Zoë Wanamaker (My Family), Kara Tointon (EastEnders), Hannah Tointon (Hollyoaks) and Leon Ockenden (Waterloo Road).
