With Mrs Brown’s Boys now focused on Christmas specials and arena tours, its creator and star – Brendan O’Carroll – has a lot more time in his calendar. And he’s putting it to use by with a new game show he’s putting together for BBC One.

The show is going by the working title of Tell Me Something I Don’t Know, and at this stage, only a pilot is being produced. There are no plans to broadcast said pilot, that will be recorded next month.

According to Chortle, the producers of the show have said that the programme “‘will involve lots of hilarious games, interesting facts and the occasional fib’ with contestants drawn from the studio audience”.

O’Carroll is also set to record a second series of chat show All Round To Mrs Brown’s next year., for which six episodes have been ordered.
