As per the original plan, the brilliant Peaky Blinders was expected to draw to a close next year, with the broadcast of its fifth series. However, it now turns out that the rumours of more to come were true, with the show’s creator – Steven Knight – confirming that next year’s run won’t be the final one after all.
In fact, it’s now being reported that talks are underway with the BBC to bring both a sixth and seventh series of the show to our screens. An official deal has not yet been struck, but it sounds like it’s just a matter of time before the dotted line is duly signed.
Furthermore, he’s revealed that there are plans too for a Peaky Blinders ballet, that’s likely to debut in Birmingham!
