The hit TV show Scrubs, headlined by Zach Braff, has been away from our screens now for over seven years and counting. Not that that’s stopped its fanbase from wanting more episodes.
And in a new interview at TV Guide, Braff admitted that he might be open to the idea now.
“I don’t think we’d do a traditional TV show thing, but I think we daydream about the idea of doing, like, a TV movie. That’s something that feels more realistic”, he admitted.
It’s logistics that prevent any serious chat about a more prolonged series.
“Because everyone is so all over the place … I don’t think we’d want to do a revival of the show, but I think what’s more realistic and feasible would be to do sort of a – like Psych did a two-hour movie. I think that would be something we could all do. I mean, I would”.
Sarah Chalke, Braff’s co-star in the series, has also confirmed that she’d be interested in a reunion film, should the chance arise. We suspect this one might just happen. We’ll keep you posted.
