Lionsgate has started developing a big screen version of the BBC’s Jekyll.

Written by Doctor Who showrunner and Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat, the six-part series aired on BBC One in 2007.

A sequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde novella, Jekyll starred James Nesbitt (The Missing) as a modern-day descendant of Dr. Jekyll.
