A rumour sprung up yesterday that seemed to cast a shadow over the future of Netflix’s soaraway smash hit, Stranger Things. Said rumour suggested that the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, were considering quitting the programme once season three was complete.
However, Netflix US has moved quickly to nix those rumours, courtesy of a post on its Twitter account. This one, as it happens…

Season three of Stranger Things is currently in pre-production, and isn’t expected on our screens until next year. It’ll be a longer gap between seasons than we got last time. But it sounds as though once they’re done with it, the Duffer Brothers will move onto season four…
