As had been rumoured, Netflix is pulling back the episode count for Stranger Things season 3, that’s set to go into production later this year.
The show debuted, of course, with an eight episode opening season, before increasing that count to nine for its follow-up run, that landed last year. Now, it’s going back down to eight, and this time, the new season will be set in 1985. One or two iconic films it might just take advantage of, there.
The new season is still not expected until next year, but filming is set to start in April. More on the show as we hear it.
