Penned by Tim Crouch and Toby Jones, the BBC has given the greenlight to a new comedy series by the name of Don’t Forget The Driver.
Jones will also star in what’s described as the “dark comedy”, a series that “explores what it means to live, work and parent at a point when the entire UK population is having to come to terms with the changing colour of their passports”.
Jones will play coach driver and single father Peter Green in the series, whose life is turned upside down when he discovers a dead body on the shore of Bognor.
The show will film soon for transmission later this year. BBC Two will be screening it. Six episodes are being made. More as we get it.
