For what seems like the umpteenth year running, Game Of Thrones has appeared at the top of TorrentFreak’s annual list of the most pirated TV shows of the year. It’s not entirely clear how it computes the numbers, but the chart amalgamates public BitTorrent trackers in its working.

The top ten for 2017 reads, therefore, as follows:

1. Game Of Thrones
2. The Walking Dead
3. The Flash
4. The Big Bang Theory
5. Rick & Morty
6. Prison Break
7. Sherlock
8. Vikings
9. Suits
10. Arrow

The highest new entry in that list? That’d be Rick & Morty. With no new Game Of Thrones episodes set for this year, expect a different number one in 12 months’ time…
