The show, which is going by the working title Monument, is due to start filming in Virginia soon.
Of course, this isn’t the first spinoff in the world of The Walking Dead. We’ve already seen Fear The Walking Dead find its footing, and it even had it own spinoff in the shape of the web series Flight 462. There are also plans for a trilogy of Rick Grimes movies starring Andrew Lincoln, and a spinoff for Negan has also been discussed.
This young adult series seems like an interesting idea, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we hear more.
