Current showrunner Russell T Davies teased that he is tempted to write all-music episode for his fourth series as returning showrunner.
“Murray’s music gets to the soul of Doctor Who. Maybe I’ll write an episode without any dialogue at all! Just music!”
Fans attending the concert were delighted to see that Seventh Doctor and his companion Ace actors Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred were there.

There was also a look ahead to upcoming Doctor Who with a new rendition of the Doctor Who theme, the Fifteenth Doctor’s (Nucti Gatwa) theme which was described as “very high energy with cello and saxophones” and new companion Ruby Sunday’s (Mille Gibson) wistful waltz theme titled The Life of Sunday. Murray Gold explained that “Ruby Sunday is a lost soul, searching for her parents.” and Russell T Davies revealed that Ruby will play her own theme on the piano.
