A group of Doctor Who and Jodie Whittaker fans collaborated on a signed version of Whittaker’s cover of Coldplay’s ‘Yellow’ to benefit Mencap, a charity that supports people with learning disabilities.
“I loved it and I’m really touched and proud” “Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart,” raved Whittaker, who is an ambassador for the charity.
@yorkshirejodie we saw the fundraising video you all made and loved it! Harry would have loved it too and signed along, had we been able to tear him away from bags of Skips and Peppa Pig DVD’s! You would have got his signature thumbs up. Jodie also wanted to say a big thanks pic.twitter.com/JQK8YSk4YP

“I know that if Harry were here, he would be signing along,” she said referring to her nephew who was born with Down Syndrome, a genetic disorder which causes developmental disabilities. Harry Whittaker sadly passed away in 2014 at age 3.
The thank-you video was posted by Harry’s father, Kristian Whittaker.
