The film is due in November, but you can meet the Eternals cast now thanks to Entertainment Weekly
Entertainment Weekly has published a set of exclusive interviews with the Eternals cast. We won’t steal their thunder, but will tell you why it’s worth taking a look, and remind you about the film (due November 5).
Meet the Eternals cast
In order of the Entertainment Weekly interviews, the cast is: Gemma Chan as Sersi (pictured), Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig. Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Salma Hayek as Ajak and Angelina Jolie as Thena.
Apart from immortality and the general powers most superheroes have in the MCU, their specific powers include making weapons appear from nowhere, super-super-speed, super-punch, telepathic skills and more.
What is the Eternals about?
It’s another part of the all-pervading Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and date back to the 1970s when Jack Kirby created them. They were sent to Earth a long time ago to combat ‘the Deviants’ and have sat around watching (for the most part). They’ve ignored minor threats like the whole Avengers saga including Thanos, but now something has changed all that.
If you want to know more, the film is out in November! Until then, the interviews are worth a read and the images of the Eternals themselves worth a look.
