Fresh off the back of the show’s recent New Year Treat special, Channel 4’s Taskmaster has unveiled another special episode. The show is inviting back a group of previous winners to battle for the title of Taskmaster Champion of Champions.
It’s a contest that has been held twice before, but this time the champions are drawn from Series 11 – 15.
The line-up consists of Sarah Kendall, Morgana Robinson, Sophie Duker and Dara Ó Briain.
With series 15 winner Mae Martin unavailable due to a scheduling conflict, she’ll be represented by runner-up Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Ghosts). This, of course, presents the possibility that a runner-up could be crowned the first ever “non-Champion of Champions”. Whatever next!
Whoever wins is promised the prize of a statue of Greg Davies’s buff body forged in gold as their prize.
Taskmaster Champion of Champions airs on Channel 4 at 9pm on Sunday, 14th January.
You can catch up with the Taskmaster’s New Year Treat and all the show’s previous series via Channel 4.
We’re also expecting Junior Taskmaster, fronted by former contestant Rose Matafeo, to launch in early-to-mid 2024 too. Plus, a there’s a new VR game in the works too.
