Lots of shows start shedding ratings after a few series. That is blatantly not the cast, however, with Peaky Blinders. The fourth series of the show, that screened at the end of last year, is now revealed to have enjoyed record ratings.
Debuting on BBC Two, the third season of the show averaged 3.3 million viewers across the series, with a peak audience of 3.6 million tuning in for the finale. That’s the biggest audience the show has enjoyed since its debut.
The BBC, in announcing the ratings success, has also confirmed that Peaky Blinders series 5 is coming, but won’t be with us until 2019.
