Peaky Blinders series 5 won’t arrive until 2019

A mix of good news and bad news following the dramatic conclusion to Peaky Blinders series 4. On the upside, the BBC has confirmed that there will indeed be a Peaky Blinders series 5. It’d be remiss to call this a massive surprise, given that the show’s creator, Steven Knight, had pretty much said this already. However, this appears to be the first official confirmation from the BBC.

The yang to that particular ying though is that the new series is going to take a bit longer to get to us. The show won’tbe back on our screens next year, as instead, BBC Two will premiere Peaky Blinders series 5 in 2019.
