Natasha Lyonne returns as Charlie Cale returns alongside another group of high-profile guest stars. 

Director Rian Johnson’s Poker Face landed last year to instant acclaim.

Fronted by Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll), the show introduced us to Charlie Cale – a heroine with the uncanny ability to tell when someone is lying to her and a nose for trouble.

With a crime of the week format, the show also boasted an impossible guest cast; the extensive roster included Adrien Brody, Chloë Sevigny, Jameela Jamil and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to name but a few.

Poker Face Season 2

Now, Variety are reporting that the wheels of Charlie’s 69 Plymouth Barracuda are turning again for season 2. This time, we can expect appearances from Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann and Kumail Nanjiani.

However, these is a behind-the-scenes changes. Rian Johnson remains as an executive producer, while Tony Tost (The Terror) assumes the showrunner role. The previous showrunning duo of Nora and Lilla Zuckerman remain on the series as executive producers.

Additionally, Natasha Lyonne is set to direct episode 2 of the new run.
