There’s a Ragnarok season 2 teaser trailer available from Netflix and the show is back later this month
Norwegian fantasy series Ragnarok is back for season 2 on May 27 and we now have a Ragnarok season 2 teaser trailer. If you’ve yet to try this series, here’s the official synopsis:
… a coming-of-age drama building on and contributing to a new and surprising angle on Norse mythology. The series is set in the small, fictitious town of Edda, situated in the grand, breathtaking Norwegian nature. The story revolves around the inhabitants of Edda, who are perhaps not all who they claim to be. With them, we experience a drastically changing world: melting poles, warm winters, violent downpours. Some might say we’re headed for yet another Ragnarok. Unless someone intervenes in time…
The show stars David Stakston as Magne Seier, who is actually a reincarnation of the god Thor. Both high school and the town of Edda (which is the name for the collection of Icelandic records telling the old Norse myths) are populated with any number of gods and mythological creatures and Magne has a lot to deal with as he discovers his powers, navigate new relationships and come to terms with his mythic inheritance.
You can catch the teaser trailer now and watch Ragnarok season 1 on Netflix.
