Reacher – Amazon renews for season 4

The Reacher season 4 news follows hot on the heels of spin-off commission for Frances Neagley too.

With its second season out, there’s a third season of Reacher in the works for 2025. Now, Prime Video has confirmed a fourth season too.

Based on the novels by Lee Child, the show follows the veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) and his team.

The latest season was based on Child’s novel Bad Luck and Trouble, which saw members of Reacher’s former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one.

Season 3 adapts Persuader, in which Reacher goes undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past. Joining Alan Ritchson, the cast includes Maria Sten, Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.

Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios said:

“Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season. We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance, and CBS Studios.”

The Untitled Neagley Project

The Reacher recommission comes after the announcement of a spin-off at last week’s Prime Video Presents: Trailblazers event. Maria Sten’s character Frances Neagley, one of Reacher’s allies, is to become the star of her own series.

Frances Neagley is a private investigator in Chicago. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.

“The Untitled Neagley Project” comes from creators Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton. What are the chances it will end up titled Neagley?

We’ll keep you posted on Reacher season 3 and 4. You can find the first two seasons at Prime Video.
