You’d be forgiven for forgetting that Johnny English and it’s superior sequel Johnny English Reborn were even a thing that happened, but the first trailer for the series’ third instalment is here to remind you.

If you enjoyed the previous films, this looks like it’ll be a good time at the cinema at least. On the one hand, there’s no Daniel Kaluuya to be seen (we guess he’s busy?) but, on the other hand, Emma Thompson, VR humour and a fairly competent erection joke.

Strikes Again follows the aftermath of a cyberattack that has comprised the identities of all undercover agents in Britain. Johnny English thus has to come out of retirement in order to uncover the hacker.

Olga Kurylenko, Jake Lacy and Ben Miller also star, with Inside No. 9‘s David Kerr at the helm.
