Biehn will reportedly play a bounty hunter…
A surprising guest cast is building for The Mandalorian‘s second season. After hearing that Rosario Dawson has joined the series as live-action Jedi, Ahsoka Tano, there are reports that Terminator and Aliens star Michael Biehn has also been added to the cast as a bounty hunter in season 2.
Biehn’s last notable appearance in a big project was in 2007 in Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse movie, Planet Terror, and wouldn’t you know it? Rodriguez is one of The Mandalorian‘s season 2 directors. Can we safely put two and two together and assume Biehn will be in one of Rodriguez’s episodes?
Biehn’s role in The Mandalorian hasn’t been confirmed at this time, but he is said to be playing a bounty hunter.
Starring Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal, The Mandalorian has been one of the most talked-about TV series since it first launched with the Disney+ streaming service back in November 2019, introducing an immediately-iconic character in the form of ‘The Child’, or ‘Baby Yoda’ as we continue to call him (he’s not Yoda).
Jon Favreau’s pricey Star Wars show will return in October, and UK viewers are hoping that the episodes will be released in a timely fashion on the digital platform here. Last week, it was confirmed that only two episodes of The Mandalorian season 1 would be available for UK viewers, with further instalments arriving weekly.
