Doctor Who actress Sophie Aldred stars in the Mindgame Saga, out on DVD next month.

From the show’s classic series writer and script editor Terrance Dicks, Mindgame and Mindgame Trilogy feature actors and characters from Doctor Who.

Sophie Aldred played companion Ace in Doctor Who from 1987 to 1989.

A new Mindgame Saga set will be released on DVD on Monday 14 November by Koch Media.

Mindgame, a classic “prison cell” drama, sees three diverse life forms – a human (Sophie Aldred), a Sontaran and a Draconian (Miles Richardson) – mysteriously transported to a cell somewhere in time and space, and forced to fight.

The 1997 direct-to-video drama is the first and only time the Sontarans and Draconians have met on screen.

The two-disc release also features 1999’s sequel, Mindgame Trilogy, in which we find out what happened to the three combatants after the battle.

Extras include the Making of Mindgame, Making of Mindgame Trilogy, slideshows, Mindgame script (including missing scenes) and an all-new Mindgame Saga Retrospective.
