BBC One has released a brand new one-minute trailer for the second season of Poldark.
Aidan Turner (The Hobbit) return this autumn as Ross Poldark, alongside Eleanor Tomlinson as his wife Demelza, in ten new episodes of the Cornish period drama.
Season 2 begins at 9pm on Sunday 4 September on BBC One, airing directly opposite Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman’s new Victoria series.
The first episode sees George Warleggan (Jack Farthing) building his case against Ross, so Pascoe forces Ross to prepare a will in case the worst happens – while Demelza visits their neighbour Ray Penvenen (John Nettles) to gain an ally.
