“Follow the clues. Solve the cases…”
Unsolved Mysteries was a TV staple during the late 80s and 90s, and not just over in America. Early Sky and satellite customers were regularly treated to the strange tales presented by late host Robert Stack. Missing people, strange occurrences and the occasional paranormal element kept you guessing every week, and the show was often a catalyst for getting the public involved to solve real life cold cases.
17 years after Stack’s death, a reboot of Unsolved Mysteries has hit Netflix – well, the first half of it has! The new series was split into two halves, the second of which has just been allocated a 19 October release date on Netflix UK. Halloween spooks ahead?
“The original creators of Unsolved Mysteries and the producers of Stranger Things invite you to solve new mysteries. Follow the clues. Solve the cases,” teased the streaming giant, as it released its first look at the revival.
Here’s a trailer for the first six episodes, if you’ve not got around to watching it yet…
Unsolved Mysteries originally started streaming on 1 July.
