Amazon has released an official trailer for the Vikings Final Season and the stakes are higher than ever. Ragnarök: Twilight of the Gods. No one escapes their fate.

The trailer runs for 2:42 and reveals the final episodes will appear on Amazon Prime on December 30! Plenty of time to watch all ten before a New Year rewatch of the whole series! This date is before the episodes are available on The History Channel. The previous season ended in true viking style with a massive battle between the forces of Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) fighting for his homeland alongside King Harald (Peter Franzen) against Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen) who is trying to take Norway for his own, with the aid of the Rus.

Vikings producer, creator and writer Michael Hirst has been quoted as saying: “Prepare to be astonished, and for many surprises along the way. And if you have tears to shed, then also be prepared to shed them.” We can’t wait!
