Wandavision is coming to Disney+ in January and the publicity is ramping up with a new trailer
Wandavision hits out screens on January 15 2021, and we understand episodes will drop each Friday until March 5 (according to the Latino Disney site). The series stars Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff) and Paul Bettany (Vision) and we have another trailer. We say another as there have been snippets released on and off for some time, including this one.
Marvel continuity takes some understanding. This series sits after Avengers Endgame and before the yet to be released Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (possibly coming March 2021). Wandavision is also the first part of something called Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Taxonomy aside, the central concept is the MCU in the style of classic sitcoms, with Wanda Maximoff and Vision living an idealised urban lifestyle, until they realise something is not quite right. The cast includes Teyonnah Paris (Monica Rambeau), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Randhall Park (Jimmy Woo) and Kathryn Hahn (Agnes).
You can catch the latest trailer here. We have to say it all looks rather intriguing, but we’ll leave the last word to Wanda:
“We just don’t know what to expect…”
