The incredibly talented folks at The Hillywood Show have created their most detailed and elaborate production yet: a 7-minute musical tribute to Sherlock!
The video follows their previous Doctor Who ‘Time Warp’ parody and their The Lord Of The Rings ‘Let it Go’ parody.
“The game is on! Sherlock’s mind palace becomes a musical extravaganza as he solves various crimes in this production by The Hillywood Show®. With the aid of John Watson, a big ass coat, and the science of deduction, this consulting detective is always one step ahead. You’ve never seen a high functioning sociopath like this before! By filming on some of the actual locations seen in BBC’s Sherlock, The Hillywood Show® brings Sherlockians a parody of intricate detail, like never before! Includes fan favorite moments from episodes such as, ‘A Study in Pink’, ‘The Great Game’, ‘A Scandal in Belgravia’, ‘The Sign of Three’ and more! This parody is bloody awesome.”
Look out for a special guest cameo from Sherlock co-creator and writer Steven Moffat!
As Sherlock himself would say: “Watch now if convenient. If inconvenient, watch anyway…”
They’ve also released an in-depth behind the scenes look a the making of the parody. From travelling to London to recreating a screen accurate version of Flat 221B, Hilly and Hannah reveal all here…
The new season of Sherlock began filming in April and is expected to air on BBC One in January 2017.
Here’s everything we know about Season 4 so far.
Episode 2 will guest star Toby Jones (Dad’s Army, The Girl) as “one of Doyle’s finest villains”, but little is currently known about Episode 1 or Episode 3.
