Channel 4 is having some success with science fiction, thanks to the success of Humans, and the currently-running Electric Dreams. So much so that it’s now reportedly considering bringing a version of V For Vendetta to the small screen.
The Alan Moore comic book was made into a movie back in 2005, but now a rumour has sprung up suggesting that the television project is under wraps within the corridors of Channel 4. There’s no information on who’s involved so far, just that it’s active.
We’ll keep you posted as we hear more. Channel 4 is also co-funding The First, a sci-fi drama with Hulu, that’s signed up Sean Penn to star. That’ll screen in 2018.
