The first promotional image has been revealed for BBC Two’s new Cold War espionage thriller Legacy, featuring Charlie Cox (Stardust), Romola Garai (The Hour) and Andrew Scott (Sherlock).

Written by Paula Milne (The Politician’s Husband) and based on the novel by Alan Judd, the 90-minute film is set during the height of the Cold War in 1970s London.

Legacy tells the story of a young spy, Charles Thoroughgood (Cox), who discovers the disturbing truth about his father’s complex past.
